ACCOMMODATION

Thornrigg sleeps four people in two bedrooms, one double and one twin. There is a travel cot for a baby.

There is an upstairs bathroom with shower over bath and separate toilet.

The property has wifi with easy log in.

Downstairs there is large lounge with settees, open coal fire, TV and DVD and bookcase. A small south facing conservatory opens off. The separate dining room has a large table with generous seating. The kitchen retains its original 1960s units with added updates of a washer/drier, dishwasher, fridge/freezer, microwave and filter coffee machine. There is a downstairs toilet and washbasin and a porch for coats and boots. The large attached garage provides a useful space for drying and feeding dogs. 

We welcome dogs, and they stay free of charge. The garden is enclosed and most dogs will respect the fences, but if you have a very wriggly or athletic escapee we don't guarantee to contain them! There is no limit on numbers or breeds, just as long as you can control them! Please mention number and breeds on contact form.There is a stair gate to keep dirty day-time feet out of the bedrooms. There are no restriction on where your dogs go, though if they insist on sharing your bed, please bring your own bedding.

The stair gate is also useful for child safety. Children will love the garden space. The dining table is perfect for games and craft activities! There are toys in the twin room, and buckets, spades and fishing nets in the garage. They will surely want to spend most of their time on the beach, but will also enjoy popping down to the river to see the ducks, with adult supervision.  Be aware that it is tidal and the level varies a lot.
